Google Cloud Storage and OpenText Core Capture Services complement each other well in document-centric enterprise workflows. Google Cloud Storage provides durable, scalable, and cost-effective object storage for large volumes of files and historical records, while OpenText Core Capture Services specializes in ingesting, classifying, and extracting data from incoming documents. Together, they support automated document processing, centralized content retention, and downstream workflow orchestration.
OpenText Core Capture Services ingests supplier invoices from email, scan, or upload channels, extracts key fields such as vendor name, invoice number, PO number, tax, and totals, and sends the structured data to the AP workflow or ERP system. The original invoice image and extracted metadata are then stored in Google Cloud Storage for long-term retention, audit support, and easy retrieval during disputes or compliance reviews.
Incoming correspondence, claims, contracts, and forms are captured by OpenText Core Capture Services, classified by document type, and routed to the correct business team or workflow. After classification, the source documents and processing outputs are stored in Google Cloud Storage as the enterprise archive for future search, legal hold, or downstream analytics.
During customer onboarding, OpenText Core Capture Services extracts data from identity documents, application forms, proof of address, and signed agreements. The extracted information is passed to CRM or onboarding systems for validation and approval, while the supporting documents are stored in Google Cloud Storage to maintain a complete onboarding record and support future compliance checks.
In insurance or warranty operations, OpenText Core Capture Services captures claim forms, receipts, repair estimates, and supporting correspondence. It extracts claim identifiers and key claim attributes, then forwards them to claims management systems. Google Cloud Storage retains the full document set and related evidence files, enabling adjusters, auditors, and legal teams to access the complete claim record when needed.
Legal and procurement teams can use OpenText Core Capture Services to capture incoming contracts, NDAs, amendments, and supplier agreements, then classify them by document type and extract key metadata such as parties, dates, and renewal terms. Google Cloud Storage serves as the secure repository for the original documents and supporting files, making it easier to manage contract history, renewals, and legal reviews.
Organizations digitizing paper archives can use OpenText Core Capture Services to scan and classify legacy records such as HR files, vendor records, and compliance documents. Once indexed and enriched with metadata, the digitized files are stored in Google Cloud Storage for long-term retention, lifecycle management, and integration with analytics or search tools.
In exception-based processes, Google Cloud Storage can act as the shared document repository for files awaiting review, while OpenText Core Capture Services processes newly received or updated documents and returns extracted data for validation. If a document fails classification or requires reprocessing, the file can be retrieved from Google Cloud Storage, re-submitted to OpenText Core Capture Services, and then updated in the workflow system.
These integration patterns help enterprises combine intelligent document capture with scalable cloud storage, improving process automation, compliance, and access to business records across finance, operations, legal, and customer-facing teams.
