Sales teams can generate quotes, order forms, or customer agreements in Salesforce and send them directly to OpenText Core Signature for legally binding e-signature. Once signed, the executed document is automatically returned to Salesforce and attached to the opportunity or account record.
When a new customer is created in Salesforce, onboarding documents such as service agreements, consent forms, or welcome packets can be routed to OpenText Core Signature for signature. After completion, the signed files and audit trail are synced back to Salesforce for customer service and account management teams.
For existing customers, Salesforce can trigger renewal notices or contract amendments based on subscription dates, account changes, or renewal opportunities. OpenText Core Signature handles the signature workflow, and the final executed renewal agreement is written back to Salesforce for tracking and reporting.
In organizations where Salesforce is used for partner, contractor, or field service management, documents such as NDAs, service acknowledgements, or compliance forms can be initiated from Salesforce and signed through OpenText Core Signature. Signed documents are then linked to the relevant contact, case, or partner record in Salesforce.
Customer service teams can use Salesforce cases or service requests to initiate service agreements, change authorizations, or exception approvals that require customer signature. OpenText Core Signature manages the signing process, and the signed authorization is returned to the case record for audit and resolution tracking.
Channel managers can store partner records and opportunity data in Salesforce, then trigger partner agreements, reseller contracts, or commission acknowledgements through OpenText Core Signature. Once signed, the documents are automatically associated with the partner account and available to sales operations teams.
OpenText Core Signature can send signature status updates such as sent, viewed, completed, or declined back to Salesforce so sales and operations teams can monitor document progress without leaving the CRM. This enables automated follow-up tasks, alerts, and pipeline reporting based on signature completion.
